- The Northern Waterfront Economic Development Initiative will bring more industry to Contra Costa, increasing pollution and reliance on fossil fuels.
- Contra Costa is ALREADY the second-most industrialized county in California behind Los Angeles, and air quality in Pittsburg is ALREADY among the worst not only in the Bay Area but in the United States.
- We need more jobs, but we also need a new vision that takes us toward clean air, water and soil, renewable energy and sustainable business.
WE CAN DO BETTER THAN THE CURRENT PLAN!
This meeting will present the status of the Northern Waterfront Initiative and introduce a new innovative vision for the project that
will be driven by our community!
Sponsored by:
Bay Area Refinery Corridor Coalition, Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter, Martinez Environmental Group, Crockett-Rodeo United to Defend the Environment, and the Interfaith Climate Action Network of Contra Costa County
